Cosmic Chemistry: do God and Science mix?
Professor John Lennox
If we are to believe many modern commentators, science has squeezed God into a corner, killed and then buried him with its all-embracing explanations. Atheism, we are told, is the only intellectually tenable position, and any attempt to reintroduce God is likely to impede the progress of science. In this stimulating and thought-provoking talk, John Lennox invites us to consider such claims very carefully. Is it really true, he asks, that everything in science points towards atheism? Could it be possible that theism sits more comfortably with science than atheism? Has science buried God or not?

Festival of Thought's Women's Summit is an opportunity to consider the biggest questions facing working women in South Africa today. What does success look like? What's the purpose in my 9-5? Where can I find certainty in an uncertain world? Hosted by Brenda Scrooby (née Horne), a multiple award winning businesswoman, Festival of Thought's Women's Summit will offer much for both the heart and intellect as well as bring meaningful insights and perspectives from the Christian worldview.
